About Green Clean

We launched in January 2006 and it’s been a blast ever since! After years of success being Salem’s FIRST and ONLY green cleaning company, we’ve expanded onto Cape Ann! Before this wonderful green epidemic, there was GREEN CLEAN pioneering the way! Green isn’t a phase or a catch phrase for us, it’s a way of life. We aren’t new to natural and organic living like other companies, we are well versed and very invested in all aspects of being green, including different ways of achieving efficiency and boy do we love to be of help! We just LOVE being a part of the North Shore’s wonderful community.

At GREEN CLEAN, we strongly believe in working locally. Our current area of service for our Salem branch is a 4.5 mile radius from downtown Salem. This keeps our drivers (and bikers) out of traffic and less time burning fossil fuels. And there’s enough work here for us! Our area of service on Cape Ann is a 6 mile radius from Downtown Gloucester. We can travel out a little further for a nominal travel fee that goes directly to the cleaners, untaxed.

We’re also a socially conscious business! We buy locally when possible and donate to people and organizations who work towards positive social change. You can keep up with our donations through our Facebook page.

Our soaps are the purest of the pure, 100% plant-based, 100% biodegradable, never EVER tested on animals and after years of trying nearly every product out there, we found a couple that REALLY work without leaving a residue (woo hoo!). Nothing with so much as a synthetic fragrance or dye makes it into our recycled milk bottle spray bottles! We’ve even gotten our hands on sponges made from recycled material with organic walnut fibers! GREEN CLEAN vacuums are top of the line Kirby vacuums and of course we use HEPA bags that filter out 99.97% of dust particles. This basically means not only is your house clean when we leave, but so is the air. Even the vacuum attachments are recyclable!

We use all microfiber rags and mop heads that get washed and reused. People get really excited to see what we can do to their hardwood floors. We make bathrooms sparkle with the goodness of nature and we are SERIOUS when it comes to finding and removing dust.

GREEN CLEAN’s owner has 15 years of professional cleaning experience and is present at most, if not all, cleaning jobs. If you need us for move-ins/move-outs, let us know if you want us to sage the space to neutralize residual energy of the former tenants. GREEN CLEAN goes the extra mile with its intense dedication for its own carbon footprint, minimizing water usage and disposable products. Our rates are great, highly competitive.
